Darrell is a third-generation Sheet Metal Mechanic. He started in the sheet metal trade at the age of 18 after graduating high school in Edmonton and received his Red Seal Certification in 1989. He worked for Alpine heating until 1993 at which time he started a small residential heating and A/C business. He worked for a variety of Edmonton based home builders before moving to Calgary in 1996. There the business grew from a one-man operation to the successful company it is today. Darrell married Trish in 1989. They enjoy travelling and spending time with their three children.
Originally from Scotland, Trish moved to Canada at the age of 18. She studied business and Sign language and worked at the Alberta School for the Deaf for 3 years. She then moved to the Provincial Government and worked for Economic Development and Tourism where she learned an understanding of successful business practices. In 1997 she moved to Calgary and devoted her time to raising her family and working with Darrell to help grow the business.
Originally from Ireland, Peter moved to Canada in 2002 after completing his studies in business management. Shortly after arriving in Canada, Peter took on an apprenticeship in the HVAC industry receiving a Red Seal Journeyman certificate from SAIT. Peter brings over 15 years of industry experience, combined with his knowledge of business operations to the table to help guide the successful operation of the team. His responsibilities include the general management of business operations, project management, estimating/bidding on new projects, attaining new contracts and creating/maintaining customer and partner relations.
Born in Edmonton but now a Calgarian, Dan Fox is a Red Seal Journeyman who completed his apprenticeship at SAIT in Calgary. Dan also attended the University of Lethbridge where he studied Conservation Enforcement. Dan has both field and shop experience, which is rare and a very beneficial quality to have in his role. As our Production Manager, his responsibilities include overseeing the operations in our custom fabrication shop, reviewing and ordering all material and equipment orders for all field projects along with teaching our shop apprentices their trade.
Born in Scotland, Laura moved to Canada at a young age. After graduating high school Laura attended college where she studied Business Management. She came to Fox after many years of operating her own business and brings knowledge and experience to the role of Safety Officer. After setting up our Safety Program she continues to monitor the day to day operations while also working on the administrative team.
